In today’s ever-changing global reality, travelers should be prepared for unexpected events, including severe weather, political developments, travel delays, rerouting, cancellations, and medical emergencies. Since COVID, many travel hosts, hotels, and tour operators can no longer risk taking a financial loss and now require non-refundable deposits or full payment in advance. Refundable airline tickets and hotel reservations have also become more common. As a result, travel insurance has become an important part of planning any trip. If you are traveling with Life Island on an Overseas Adventure Travel (OAT) trip, you will be offered complete coverage through OAT. For our trips to Greece, all of our hosts require medical coverage at a minimum.You may also purchase trip cancellation and medical insurance on your own.
